Refund Policy

Effective Date: 04 June 2025

1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of digital language-learning Products (e-books, online courses, bundles) bought from Globspeak via globspeak.com.

2. Products Covered

  • Digital downloadable content (e-books, PDFs).

  • Online courses, memberships, access to online learning platforms.

  • Bundles or combinations of the above, unless at time of purchase explicitly excluded.

3. No Refund After Full Access
Because the Products are delivered digitally and you generally receive immediate access, once full access is granted (e.g., download link given, course login provided) we typically do not provide refunds — except in the exceptional circumstances described below or as required by Georgian law.

4. Exceptions / Right to Request a Refund
You may request a refund if one of the following applies:

  • The Product is materially defective (for example we cannot provide access due to technical failure) and we cannot remedy within a reasonable timeframe.

  • The Product you received is substantially different from the description on the Site.

  • We made a clear error in pricing or payment which we failed to correct or notify.

  • Your purchase qualifies under the Georgian consumer protection law for withdrawal (see clause 5).
    To request a refund you must contact us at info@globspeak.com within 14 calendar days of purchase (unless a different period is clearly stated at sale). Provide your order number, purchase date, Product name, reason for request and any supporting evidence. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe (normally up to 7 business days).

5. Consumer Rights under Georgian Law
Under the Law on the Protection of Consumer Rights of Georgia (effective from June 2022) consumers may have the right to withdraw from a distance contract (i.e., online purchase) within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. 
However:

  • This right may not apply if digital content has been fully made available and you have acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once it begins. 

  • We will clearly inform you at the point of sale if your right of withdrawal is lost due to immediate access to digital content.​

6. Method of Refund
If we approve your refund request:

  • We will refund the purchase price (less any non-recoverable transaction fees) to the original payment method used.

  • Refund will be processed within 14 calendar days of approval.

  • If you have already accessed substantial portions of the Product (e.g., downloaded full e-book, completed large portion of the course) we may decline the refund or deduct a reasonable amount reflecting usage.

7. Non-Refundable Situations
We will not normally refund if:

  • You simply change your mind after accessing the Product.

  • You purchased but did not utilise the Product.

  • You started the course or downloaded the e-book and decided you didn’t like it — unless there was a defect or mis-representation.

  • You breached your licence, shared or distributed the Product illicitly.

  • You purchased a heavily discounted/free offer where refund rights were explicitly excluded and this exclusion was clearly communicated at the time of sale.

8. Modifications to the Product
We may update or discontinue Products at any time. If a modification materially reduces the value of the Product you purchased, you may request a refund under clause 4. Minor updates or features changes do not automatically trigger a refund.
